Experience the delicate beauty and vibrant complexity of East Africa with our The Serengeti Sunrise Tanzania Roast 🦒. This exceptional coffee, hailing from the soaring altitudes of the Southern Highlands, offers a sparkling, elegant, and uniquely fruity cup.

Our Serengeti Sunrise is meticulously ethically sourced from dedicated small cooperative farmers in the esteemed Mbeya Region of Tanzania. These cooperatives cultivate their superb coffee on the fertile slopes, where the mineral-rich Clay Minerals soil and high elevations—ranging from 1,200 to 1,900 meters—provide ideal conditions for slow, flavor-concentrating growth.

The beans consist of classic African varietals, Bourbon and Kent, known for their exceptional quality and complex sweetness. The coffee is processed with meticulous care: it is Fully Washed and Dried on Raised Beds. This method, typical of the region, ensures a supremely clean cup, highlighting the delicate aromatics and bright acidity that this origin is famous for.

We apply a freshly roasted Medium-Light profile to this coffee, a roast level specifically chosen to preserve the bean's natural sugars and highlight its ethereal aromatics. The result is a truly remarkable and luminous Tasting Profile:

  • Pear: A subtle, gentle sweetness that introduces the flavor.
  • Floral & Jasmine: Delicate, tea-like aromatic notes that define the cup's elegance.
  • Strawberry: A distinct, playful red fruit acidity that provides a juicy, effervescent finish.

The combination of the medium-light roast and the careful processing yields a light, smooth body and a sparkling, refreshing acidity. By choosing this Tanzanian jewel, you are directly supporting the small farming communities in Mbeya, fostering sustainable practices and helping them achieve excellent quality. Pour a cup and let the Serengeti Sunrise awaken your senses.
