These exceptional coffee pods contain only freshly roasted, ethically sourced beans from the volcanic slopes of Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia. The beans are grown by dedicated smallholder farmers at high altitudes of 1,200 to 1,600 meters in the fertile, mineral-rich Volcanic Loam soil surrounding Mount Batur. This unique terroir imparts a distinct, clean flavor that is characteristic of the region.
Our selection of traditional Balinese varietals—Bourbon, Typica, and Catimor—are painstakingly hand-picked at peak ripeness. They undergo a specialized process that combines the regional method of wet-hulling (similar to the famous Sumatran method, but with less intense earthiness) and are finished by being dried on raised beds. This ensures a syrupy body while maintaining a beautiful clarity.
