Discover the warm, classic comfort of Central America with our The Marcala Legacy Honduras Roast 🍯 . This exceptionally smooth coffee, hailing from the renowned Marcala region, offers a satisfying depth and a rich, sweet flavor profile that feels instantly familiar and comforting.

Our Marcala Legacy coffee is meticulously ethically sourced from the dedicated 1,500 grower/members of Cafe Organics Marcala. This cooperative is a beacon of sustainability in the La Paz, Honduras region, committed to producing high-quality organic coffee while maintaining a focus on ecological health and fair compensation for its farmers. The beans flourish at high altitudes between 1,300 and 1,700 meters in fertile Clay Minerals soil.

We feature a diverse and desirable collection of varietals—Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Lempira, and Typica—each contributing to the cup's layered sweetness. The coffee is processed using the traditional Fully Washed and Sun Dried method, ensuring a clean, vibrant foundation that allows the natural sugars to shine.

We apply a perfect freshly roasted Medium-Dark profile to this roast. This level maximizes the beans' natural caramelization, enhancing the body and bringing forth its signature comforting notes. The resulting Tasting Profile is pure indulgence:

  • Caramel: A dominant, buttery sweetness that forms the core flavor.
  • Spice: A gentle, warming undertone of baking spice that adds complexity.
  • Brown Sugar: A rich, molasses-like sweetness that provides a lingering, satisfying finish.

The Honduras Roast offers a heavy, smooth body and a well-rounded character, making it an ideal choice for both pour-over and espresso. By choosing this roast, you are directly supporting the sustainable practices and ethical sourcing commitment of the Cafe Organics Marcala co-op, ensuring every cup is both delicious and responsible.
