Discover the serene balance and rich, syrupy depth of our The Island Veil Bali Blue Roast 💙. This exquisite coffee is a true representation of Indonesia's 'Island of the Gods,' offering a tranquil and deeply satisfying cup.

This exceptional coffee is meticulously ethically sourced from dedicated smallholder farmers in the highlands of Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia. The beans are grown in the shadow of Mount Batur, where the fertile Volcanic Loam soil and high altitudes of 1,200 to 1,600 meters impart a natural density and intense sweetness to the beans.

The coffee features traditional Balinese varietals—Bourbon, Typica, and Catimor—which are carefully hand picked at peak ripeness. The defining characteristic is the unique processing: a combination of regional methods where the coffee is wet-hulled (a process known locally for enhancing body and sweetness) and then finished by being dried on raised beds. This method results in a supremely smooth, clean cup while preserving a comforting, rustic character.

Our dedication to quality means this coffee is freshly roasted to a precise Medium-Dark profile. This roast level maximizes the inherent sugars and oils, giving the coffee a heavy, syrupy mouthfeel and a truly decadent Tasting Profile:

  • Dark Chocolate: A profound, satisfying cocoa base that provides complexity and richness.
  • Molasses: A deep, complex sweetness with hints of treacle that adds significant body.
  • Brown Sugar: A familiar, caramelized sweetness that ties the deep flavors together with a warm, luxurious finish.

By choosing the Bali Blue Roast, you are supporting the traditional, sustainable, and ethically sourced practices of the Kintamani farmers. This is a perfect coffee for those who appreciate intensity of flavor combined with a smooth, low-acidity finish. Experience the balance and richness of the Emerald Isle in every cup.
